Giordano Bottecchia holds a Bachelor degree (2012) from Ca’ Foscari University (Venice) in Languages and Cultures of the Mediterranean and the Middle East (Arabic and Hebrew). After a research project (2014), he obtains in 2015, a Master degree in LLCER – Middle-East Maghreb – Hebrew at the INALCO in Paris, on Emigration of the Jews of Lybia. His fields of research are the history of the Jews in Moslem countries and the Arabic world and the relationship between migration and patrimony. - On November 16, 2024, at the Institute of Islamic Studies at Berlin’s Freie Universität, David Torollo, a former post-doctoral fellow in the Aliento project, presented a paper entitled « Through and Beyond Arabic: Thirteenth-Century Multilingual Iberia ». The conference was organized by AGYA.
