Mary-Nelly FOULIGNY obtained the Agrégation in Classics (1991), and defended a PhD thesis on Latin Language and Literature (1998), after which she joined the Université de Lorraine in 2000 as Senior Lecturer. Her research focuses on the study of ancient sources in subsequent Latin works, the study of the implications of Classical Antiquity, the outcome and posterity of the sapiential statements. She works on the Erasmus’Adagia in particular. As a member of the EA 1132 HISCANT-MA principally and of the EA 7035 LIS secondarily, she is engaged in the ALIENTO project since 2008 dans le projet ALIENTO for which she has undertaken the encoding of Bonium − Liber philosophorum moralium antiquorum (text belonging to the main reference corpus) and a reflexion on the Latin texts codification.
